When Creekside Pet Center came to Hub & Spoke for branding and web design, they already had in mind what they wanted. Since they specialize in doggy daycare, they knew that their prized golden retriever, Zeus, would be the perfect face for their about to launch brand.
It’s our job as design professionals to take our clients’ ideas and run with them. Creekside sent us some pictures of Zeus, and we took over from there. Our designers worked to shape a realistic, colorful, and friendly logo featuring Zeus peeping over an animated wooden sign.
The logo design’s setting evokes the pet-perfect countryside where the center can be found, but is abstract enough that the scene it depicts could be anywhere. Its soft but vibrant color scheme communicates professionalism and quality service without giving the logo a corporate look.
Once we had the initial concept, it was time to nail down the details. We worked with Creekside to get just the style they wanted, down to the way that Zeus’s fluff looks as it hangs over the wooden sign.
Along with a logo, we worked with Creekside to develop a website to help them launch online as they prepare to open their facility. The website, which will include online scheduling, soft launched with the logo.
